1. Non-Clinical Consulting Services

ErgoHome Solutions provides private-pay, non-clinical consulting services focused on home safety, ergonomics, accessibility, and aging-in-place solutions. These services are educational and consultative in nature and do not constitute occupational therapy, medical evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. No Medical or Therapeutic Relationship

Although Dr. Kristi Moore, OTD, OTR/L, CIE, CEAS, ECHM is a licensed occupational therapist in the State of North Carolina, services provided under ErgoHome Solutions are offered as professional consulting, not as licensed healthcare. No therapist-client or medical-patient relationship is established through consultation, communication, or website use.

3. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Recommendations and reports provided by ErgoHome Solutions are based on professional expertise and information supplied by the client. Results and benefits may vary depending on the client’s home environment, implementation, and personal factors. ErgoHome Solutions makes no guarantees or warranties, express or implied, regarding outcomes or results.

4. Product and Vendor Recommendations

Any equipment, furniture, or product recommendations made during an assessment or consultation are suggestions only. ErgoHome Solutions is not affiliated with or compensated by any manufacturer or vendor. Clients are responsible for selecting, purchasing, and using recommended products safely and appropriately.

5. Collaboration with Builders, Realtors, and Designers

When working in collaboration with builders, architects, realtors, or interior designers, ErgoHome Solutions acts solely as a consultant. We do not oversee construction, remodeling, or real estate transactions, and we are not responsible for work performed by third parties. Clients are encouraged to verify contractor credentials, permits, and insurance before initiating projects.

6. ErgoHome Approved™ Stamp Disclaimer

The ErgoHome Approved™ Stamp reflects a project’s adherence to ergonomic, safety, and accessibility principles as evaluated by ErgoHome Solutions at the time of assessment.
This designation is based on professional review and does not represent a structural inspection, engineering certification, or legal compliance verification.

The ErgoHome Approved™ Stamp does not guarantee compliance with building codes, ADA standards, or any federal, state, or local regulations.
The stamp’s validity applies only to the conditions observed during evaluation and may expire if the space, design, or structure is modified without reassessment.

ErgoHome Solutions and its representatives are not liable for any subsequent alterations, construction changes, or accessibility deficiencies that occur after the initial assessment.

7. Liability Limitation

ErgoHome Solutions, KLM Ergonomics Consulting, PLLC, and its representatives shall not be held liable for any injury, damage, or loss arising directly or indirectly from the use or misuse of recommendations, information, or products discussed during consultation. All decisions and implementations based on consulting recommendations are the sole responsibility of the client.
