Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by ErgoHome Solutions, a service of KLM Ergonomics Consulting, PLLC. By booking or purchasing services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before engaging our services.
1. Services
ErgoHome Solutions provides private-pay consulting services related to home safety, accessibility, ergonomic design, and aging-in-place strategies. All services are educational and consultative in nature and do not constitute medical, occupational therapy, or clinical care.
2. Payment Terms
Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payments are securely processed through third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Square). Invoices and receipts will be provided electronically.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
To reschedule or cancel an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee up to 50% of the service fee. No-shows or same-day cancellations may forfeit the full service fee.
4. Travel Policy
In-person services include travel within 30 miles of zip code 28211. Additional mileage fees apply for locations 31–60 miles away, as stated in the service descriptions. Travel beyond 60 miles is considered on a case-by-case basis.
5. Reports & Recommendations
Reports, recommendations, and resources provided by ErgoHome Solutions are based on professional judgment and client-provided information. These materials are for educational purposes only and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical, legal, or construction advice.
6. Intellectual Property
All materials, reports, forms, and written recommendations provided by ErgoHome Solutions remain the intellectual property of KLM Ergonomics Consulting, PLLC. Clients are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use materials for personal use only. Reproduction or distribution without written permission is prohibited.
6A. Trademark Usage Policy
ErgoHome Approved™ is a proprietary designation and trademark of KLM Ergonomics Consulting, PLLC. Use of this mark is permitted only with written authorization from ErgoHome Solutions and solely in connection with approved projects or collaborations.
Unauthorized use, alteration, or reproduction of this mark, logo, or related stamp materials is strictly prohibited. The ErgoHome Approved™ stamp does not imply endorsement, warranty, or legal compliance beyond the scope of assessment provided by ErgoHome Solutions.
7. Liability Disclaimer
While every effort is made to ensure accuracy and safety, ErgoHome Solutions and its representatives are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from the use of recommendations, equipment, or products discussed during consultation. Clients assume full responsibility for implementation and use of suggested modifications or equipment.
8. Collaboration with Professionals
When working with builders, architects, or realtors, client information is shared only with prior written consent. ErgoHome Solutions is not responsible for third-party work, materials, or services provided by others.
9. Confidentiality
All personal information shared during the consultation process is treated as confidential in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Client details will not be disclosed except as required by law or with client permission.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina. For clients located in South Carolina, services comply with applicable SC business and consulting regulations. Any disputes shall be resolved in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
11. Updates to Terms
ErgoHome Solutions reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most recent version will be posted at www.ErgoHomeSolutions.com/terms.
